Upcut spiral bits have a sharpened tip so they plunge faster and as deep as you like without stopping; in comparison standard straight bits only plunge in intervals of 25mm maximum.

An upcut spiral bit removes the chips upwards for optimum chip clearance resulting in faster feed rates without burning and a clean finish on the bottom of the material.

Suitable for soft/hard woods, MDF, plastic coated boards, plywood, plastics and composites.
