Cobalt infused micro grain tunsten carbide for best durability and lifetime, thicker carbide so suitable for multiple resharpennings. Carbide is brazed onto the body using a triple layer process (silver-copper-silver) to give the strongest bond. Multi axis CNC grinding process produces a ultra sharp cutting edge geometry for best edge retention - Stays Sharper Longer. Anti-friction coating reduces binding, friction and heat build up for cooler cuts; it also protects the bit against corrossion and accumulation of resin. Anti-Kickback Shoulder controls depth of cut and minimises kickback. 2 carbide edges ensure clean, smooth and precise grooves or slots in soft/hard woods, MDF, plastic coated boards, plywood, plastics and composites. Bits from 3-8mm diameter are solid carbide for better durability and lifetime. With bottom cutting edge making them ideal for plunge cuts. On small diameters as well as long router bits make multiple shallow passes to prevent damaging the bit.
